Gruyere and Mushroom Sandwich Bites These Gruyere and Mushroom Sandwich Bites are the perfect gourmet finger food. These mini vegetarian party snacks , Fry off mushrooms in butter with a little wine and fresh thyme. Butter one side of the bread and then grill to get some char-lines. Assemble the sandwich: fried mushrooms, grated cheese, plenty of salt and pepper. Place the sandwiches into the oven and cook for 7-9 minutes until the cheese is just melted and the bread is golden. Cut into mini sandwich bites and serve. Garnish with parsley because it adds freshness and looks pretty.

Fried fish : Pour oil into a skillet and heat over medium-high heat to 375 F. Working in batches, fry the fish in the hot oil for about 6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown, crispy, and cooked through. Remove and set on a cooling rack to let drain. Dip fish fillets in egg mixture; dip in flour to coat. Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add fish; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and fish flakes easily with fork, turning once. If desired, season to taste with salt and pepper.
