Croissants are French viennoiserie pastries

Croissants are French viennoiserie pastries that are actually from Austria (Vienna). They are made with a yeast leavened dough that has been laminated with butter, in multiple layers. Chop up some fruit strawberries, peaches, bananas and make a batch of homemade Nutella or whipped chocolate cream. Split the baked croissant in half, add your spread and top with the fruit.

Croissant Sandwich

Croissant Sandwich with Mushrooms and Brie A warm croissant sandwich oozing with melted Brie, garlic mushrooms and a dash of cranberry sauce. This is melt in your mouth delicious! Try spreading salted butter on a croissant to complement its buttery flavors. Cut or tear the croissant into pieces and butter them up before each bite. The salted butter will enhance the already buttery flavor of croissants. You can still dunk the croissant in coffee with butter on it if you want.
