PORK CARNITAS SLOW COOKER

PORK CARNITAS (SLOW COOKER MEXICAN PULLED PORK) Pulled pork is meat from a pig (typically from the shoulder region) that has been slow-cooked until it’s easy enough to shred, whereas carnitas is a version of pulled pork that’s often fixed with Mexican spices (or simply salt). Always add a little liquid at the bottom of the slow cooker. This will just prevent the pork joint from sticking and burning. Don’t worry about covering the pork, as it will create a lot of moisture on its own. Pulled pork can be left in the slow cooker for a long time, but be sure not to overcook it.
